The first of four Come Alive Outside programs, sponsored by the Guffey 18 Toes 4-H Dog Club, was attended by about twenty-five people with their dogs.
CAO offers “a great opportunity for everyone to enjoy the fresh mountain air and sunshine during our short summer, enhance the human and animal bond and get some exercise as well,” said Amy Mason, leader of the club and Guffey veterinarian.
The CAO initiative was started in 2010, to address the many adverse effects in our society of our sedentary, indoor lifestyles.
