LWV to celebrate the past, embrace the future

Help the League of Women Voters celebrate its past and its continuing impact on the American political process. Learn how you can make an important difference today. Voting is the most powerful way to make your voice heard, and it is the core of our democracy. The League has worked for the past 95 years and continues to work tirelessly to encourage all eligible voters, men and women, to participate in our political system.

Become an informed voter. The 2015-2016 Jeffco League of Women Voters calendar starts this September and ends next May. Six unit meetings will be held Sept. 8-10 throughout Jefferson County. All are free and open to both men and women. Please bring a friend and attend the first meeting of the 2015-2016 League year to learn what LWV is all about.

The Jeffco LWV’s Mountain Parks Unit meets at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 8, at a member’s home in Evergreen. Call Janet at 303-674-7755 for directions and more information.
