Boys and Girls Club expands after school programming to Bailey

When 25-year-old Sarah Wright came across an opportunity to work in Colorado, doing what she loves, she embraced the adventure and road tripped across the country from her home in Georgia.

“Whatever could fit into my little Corolla, is what I brought,” Wright said.

Wright recently came on board as the Bailey unit director of the Boys and Girls Club of South Park, which is now offering after school programming to the Platte Canyon School District.

She’s perfect for the job, with her infectious smile and bubble personality. She has also been with the Boys and Girls Clubs of America for four years in northwest Georgia as a program coordinator and has a bachelor’s degree in education.

“I just fell in love with the program,” Wright said. “I wanted to stay in the organization.”
