The preliminary abstract of assessment was certified by the Park County commissioners Aug. 20 with a total of $404.17 million countywide taxable assessed property values.
This is about $7.62 million more in taxable assessed values than in 2014, which was $396.55 million.
Assessed values for 2014 were taken from the Park County Assessor’s website,
www.parkco.org
and were rounded by The Flume for this story.
An additional $101.51 million in assessed property values is not taxable because the property is owned by local government, school districts and special districts.
