It’s that time of year again where pumpkin pie spiced everything is available. I inevitably end up making something pumpkin pie spiced so I figured I would get it over with. This is a very simple recipe that produces a sweet tasting roast that is not overly pumpkin flavored. The recipe calls for a two-hour room temperature marinade and a two-hour cook time for optimum flavor. If short on time you may simply rub the roast, increase the oven temperature to 350 degrees, and bake for about 50 minutes.
