From Katherine Ursum McKinney:
You are all cordially invited to the Kittredge Civic Association's first annual BEER and WINE GARDEN at this year's Canyonfest, Saturday, September 19, 2015. We will proudly be serving some spectacular wines from two of our local wineries. A Riesling and Bailey Barbarian from Aspen Peak Cellars, and Rosso and Bianco from Creekside Cellars. The folks from Grand Lake Brewing Company will be pouring five of their amazing hand-crafted brews. And what could make tasting these fine beverages even more enjoyable, you ask? A chaser of some incredible local musical talent, including Troublesome Gulch, members from the Rhubarb Project, Andy Potter, and the supremely talented Tony Fiore (yes, THAT teacher from Parmalee Elementary)! We will also have some seriously delicious food vendors and many, many artisans on hand to satisfy all you farmer's market junkies.
There will be numerous fun games and prizes for the kiddos, along with many raffle items generously donated by some of our local merchants in Kittredge and Evergreen. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year, and it allows us to keep doing all the great things we do for our community members year after year. A portion of our proceeds will go towards assisting Evergreen Park and Recreation with their Kittredge Park Rebuild this Fall. The KCA loves our canyon and all the wonderful people that live in and visit our mountain community. Please come join us and share in the love!!!
