I wish I could've captured more, but there were many groups of people cheering on the riders along the route, mostly from Elk Creek Fire/Richmond Hill on to Platte Canyon High School. It was a perfect day for a ride, I hope the event is a huge success for the I Love U Guys Foundation! The 285 Tourism Committee was proud to participate with a booth at Platte Canyon High School.
Vincent Van Binsbergen shared this with us on our Facebook page:
"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther
The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill
I almost forgot! One of my good friends, Michelle Hoglan of Top Hat Creative Media, live broadcast the riders coming into Platte Canyon High School on Periscope. The video will only exist for 24 hours so watch it before tomorrow!
