Residents waiting for cell phone service along County Road 43 north of Bailey may or may not see the Harris Park tower operational within 60 days.
When the tower becomes operational is totally up to CenturyLink’s time frame for installing the necessary telephone connections to the tower.
Commnet Wireless Vice President of Engineering Mark Hansen said the company has been working with CenturyLink to get the necessary telephone lines installed and still does not have a delivery date, but “hopes to have them in the next 60 days.”
Hansen said CenturyLink is building the T1 fiber optics telephone cables to the tower. He did not say why the CenturyLink installation has been delayed.
