The local school news is in, from the Oct. 1, 1926, issue of The Flume, and it appears that our current crop of students have a lot in common with those days gone by.
Master Billy Smith entertained the Primary room at his birthday party. September 15. There were games with prizes, and Mrs. Smith, assisted by Mrs. Denny, served a delicious lunch of salad, circus lemonade, pineapple ice and a WONDERFUL birthday cake with eight flaming candles!! Don’t you wish you were in the primary room.
