Our next PCACC general membership meeting will be Tuesday, November 10, 2015, at the Crow Hill Fire Station beginning at 7:15 a.m.
Special Business: Board of Directors Election
We will be voting as a general body, via written ballots, on Nov 10 for positions to the board. We have three available positions to fill.
Official nominations are: Bill Bruner, Janet Shown, and Crystel Sandos. There will be "write-in" candidate opportunities available on the ballot.
Other Business: GRACIE Award nominations
We are accepting nominations for the annual GRACIE award--who in our community would you nominate for being: Giving Resourceful Admirable Caring Involved Exceptional
Other Business: Chamber Support Effort: Life Bridge Food Drive
We have recently seen the closure of one of our Bailey area volunteer food banks. That closure puts a strain on the resources of the remaining volunteer food banks to support the needs of our struggling neighbors. This month our Chamber is encouraging all of its members to support Life Bridge. The Director of Life Bridge, John Obrecht, is a Chamber member in good standing and has served this community for many years.
Please bring a donation of canned goods, sealed packaged foods and paper products, gift cards from King Soopers or Safeway, or cash donations to our general meeting. If you cannot attend, a box for Life Bridge donations will be set up in the meeting room of the fire department as of Monday 11/2.
Special Business: Enterprise Zones Presentation
A Park County Official, Linda Balough will briefly present information on a new program involving "Enterprise Zones" and how that could help businesses in the Bailey area.

We need to make a correction in our earlier post: The PCACC board initially got a report that Widow's Oil food pantry was closing in Harris Park. That closure has proven incorrect. They are greatly reduced in hours but they are still open. Our apologies for the error.
Don't forget our general membership meeting is tomorrow at the Platte Canyon Fire Station on Crow Hill at 7:15am and please bring canned goods for Lifebridge Food Pantry! We'll be voting on our new Board members, accepting nominations for the GRACIE award, and hearing from Linda Balough about Enterprise Zones. See you then!
