After three years of service to the Platte Canyon School District board of education, Vice President Philip Eisele stepped down, receiving a heartfelt thanks from President Chet Lawrence and a certificate of appreciation during the board’s monthly meeting Nov. 9.
“Mr. Eisele is a strong advocate for Bailey and our schools,” Lawrence said. “His presence on the board will be missed.”
Originally appointed to the board March 12, 2012 to fill a vacant position, Eisele said he “learned a lot” from the experience.
“And, I was happy to be able to be a part of this and you keep up the good fight,” he said.
