Lake George Charter School students stretched their imagination at this year’s winter music program Dec. 3, performing “North Pole Diaries.”
The production, adapted by music teacher Markyda VenRooy, featured each class, from pre-school to sixth grade sang selected songs which told a Christmas story through the reading of Santa’s diary.
Through it all, the kids transitioned in musical styles while decorating a Christmas tree. They sang about candy canes, took a peek into Santa’s workshop, hip-hopped with reindeer and stayed away from mistletoe to avoid a kiss.
