Park County commissioners passed budget resolutions establishing the 2016 county budget and mill levies for all taxing entities in the county Dec. 17.
All numbers were rounded by The Flume.
Several budget decisions by the commissioners between the November presentation and final approval increased county budget expenditures to $36.4 million from $35.1 million. (See article in Dec. 4 The Flume)
By comparison, the 2015 actual expenditures will be about $29.9 million. That is $1.3 million lower than the 2015 budget adopted in Dec. 2014 and $6.5 million less than the 2016 adopted county budget.
