Jury selection is complete in the People versus Jarrod Moquist murder trial, which opened in the 11th Judicial District Court in Fairplay Monday.
Moquist is accused of shooting Evan Graham, his sister Audra Moquist’s boyfriend, in the head twice and then burying the body on his Redhill Forest property sometime in June 2013.
Moquist is charged with murder in the first degree, assault in the first degree, two counts of crime of violence, and tampering with physical evidence.
District Judge Stephen Groome is presiding.
The prosecution, led by 11th Judicial District Deputy District Attorney Stacey Turner, argued in last November’s preliminary hearing that Graham was killed “execution style.
