It was a great turnout and everyone was in positive spirits today for Deputy Day at Cutthroat Cafe!
Deputy Day has been happening for about 6-7 years now. Cutthroat Cafe has been generous in enthusiastically hosting every year and "training" the volunteers who serve and bus the tables. All tips go to the Boys & Girls Club of South Park-Bailey and Fairplay program which has really grown over the past year under the helm of the energetic April-Dawn Knudsen, assisted by the tireless and positive Sarah Wright, Unit Director for the Bailey half of the program. When Sarah started, the club was serving 3 kids; they now serve over 30! Their mission is "To enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential
as productive, caring, responsible citizens." They promise "To provide a safe, positive place and have a significant impact on their lives."
