An Aurora man, who shot and killed his 16-year-old daughter Sunday, said he shot her in Park County around 3 p.m.
Larimer County Coroner Greg Fairman told The Flume the bodies of Robert Francis Wolf, 52, and his daughter, Denver Wolf, were found north of Fort Collins Monday morning.
Denver Wolf lived with her mother in Colorado Springs and was on a spring break vacation with her father last week. They went to Moab, Utah and she was expected back home on Saturday.
When Denver did not arrive home on time, and after her mother was receiving strange text messages from her ex-husband, Robert, she called in a well check to the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office. The couple still owned property together near Red Feather Lakes and the mother thought Denver and her father might be there.
