Modern Homesteaders visit the Little White Schoolhouse
Learn about "The Modern Homesteader" at the Little White Schoolhouse in Conifer at 1:00 PM on Sunday, May 1st. Shantel Scardina of Barefoot Homestead, LLC and the Conifer Summer Market is a certified Cottage Foods Producer. Lisa Keipp writes articles about Colorado history and sustainable living for Examiner.com and is part of the textile guild in Collections at History Colorado. Shantel and Lisa will tell us about the challenges and rewards of a natural, self-sustaining lifestyle.
For reservations or information, please call the Conifer Historical Society and Museum at (303) 396-5975 or visit www.coniferhistoricalsociety.org . Tickets are $8 for CHSM members and $10 for guests. Middle and High School students are free with a reservation and parent(s). The Little White Schoolhouse is located at 26951 Barkley Road in Conifer.
