Park County Sheriff’s office collected tips and donations for the Boys & Girls Club of South Park at the Cutthroat Café in Bailey during the annual Deputy Day, April 7.
Deputies and command personnel rotated throughout the day, acting as wait persons while serving up food and good conversation. The day’s take from tips were collected and given to the Boys & Girls Club to help support the organization’s programs.
April-Dawn Knudsen, chief executive officer of the Boys & Girls Club, told The Flume that they raised $1,377 from the event.
“We’re certainly excited about it,” Knudsen said. “We are very thankful for the community that came out to support our kids.
