At its weekly meeting last Thursday, the Park County Board of County Commissioners approved an employee separation agreement with Park County Undersheriff Monte Gore.
Signed April 7, the agreement states Gore’s employment with the County was terminated by resignation April 1, after more than 15 years of employment at the sheriff’s office.
“In recognition of Gore’s services to the county,” Gore received a $131,128 severance settlement in a lump sum, according to the agreement. He will also remain a participant in the County’s health insurance program until Oct. 1.
Gore releases and waives all claims he may have had with the county “in consideration of the payments and other arrangements,” stated the agreement.
