We are going to have a fun time at Evergreen Elks Lodge on Saturday May 7th watching the Kentucky Derby and racing "horses" of our own! Tickets are $40 each or $70 per couple and get you traditional Southern Derby Fare and one drink - yes we WILL have Mint Juleps!

Come in your best Derby attire and Derby Hat and win prizes!

We'll have some amazing silent auction items for you to bid to win; we greatly appreciate your support of the Mountain Resource Center.

Mountain Derby Daze - Buy Your Tickets Now!

Mountain Resource Center will hold its First Annual Mountain Derby Daze fundraising event celebrating the tradition of the Kentucky Derby.

With an element of FUN intended for this event, come ready to play or be a spectator; enjoy our silent auction which includes great specialty items such as handmade Horseshoe Wine Racks, original Horse Head paintings by local artists, and fantastic gift baskets. Compete to win prizes with our wooden horse races; and best Derby hat and attire contests. Come enjoy traditional Southern Derby foods including Mint Juleps, beer & wine. The Kentucky Derby race will be aired Live on the big screen as the finale.
