This weekend, community members, live bands and vendors will join together for a afternoon to honor the late Cpl. Nate Carrigan and to help raise funds for the Park County Sheriff’s Office.
The money will be used to purchase updated personal protective equipment and to enhance the training budget for the county deputies.
The event will take place from 1-8 p.m. Saturday at the Tomahawk Ranch, 2113 County Road 43, Bailey. There will be continuous music throughout the day, with musical acts including Kicked to the Curb, John Weeks Blues Band, Tribal Dantz and Michael Hornbuckle.
There will be various speakers, both from the PSCO and the community, and special guests through the event.
The event has been co-organized by Jeanne Boyd and Ellen Stoddard-Keyes. Stoddard-Keyes explained the purpose of the event.
