The Pike and San Isabel National Forests, Cimarron and Comanche National Grasslands has set up a fire information line to keep the public informed about wildland fire activity for the National Forests and National Grasslands along the Front Range, South Central Colorado and Southwest Kansas.
The phone number, 719-299-1567, will operate 24 hours a day and a public information officer will be available at that number from 7 a.m. until 10 p.m. For long-term fire incidents, the available public information hours may be extended.
Fire information on county or private lands will be handled by the Park County Sheriff’s Office and local fire protection districts.
