The Christian Outdoor Fellowship of America (COFA) invites you and your family, as well as your friends to experience “A Taste of the Outdoors” on June 17th and 18th, 2016 near Jefferson, Park County, CO. We ask that you encourage the outdoor enthusiasts within your congregation to attend this great event that COFA is hosting. Every church has unchurched, outdoor enthusiasts that live within the shadow of the church. In fact, statistics show that there are approximately 149 million UNCHURCHED, outdoor enthusiasts in America; and that is why COFA exists. We are encouraging churches (such as yours) to reach out to these men, women and their families with events that will attract them to attend. Events like fishing, camping, hiking, ATVing, hunting, biking and others.

Many pastors have liked what the Christian Outdoor Fellowship of America is doing to help spread the gospel; which in turn, helps to increase attendance in their churches. What COFA continues to do so well is host events to which outdoor men and women in your church invite their friends and families to attend – especially those who don’t attend church. It is at these events that the participants will always hear a devotional and see men and women of faith in the outdoors. As we get to know to know each other, we’re able to speak with them more about God and salvation in Jesus Christ. COFA events attract men and women in all walks of life, regardless of their financial, emotional, or spiritual position.

COFA encourages people to bring their ATVs (there’s a possibility that COFA may be able to share their ATVs if some people don’t own one), fishing gear (Jefferson Lake has fee to enter lake), camping equipment (tent and sleeping gear), bicycles, four wheelers and dirt bikes. The Jefferson area is great for hiking and site seeing as well! COFA will be having a BBQ on Saturday the 18th going from noon to 1:30 PM. Attendees will need to bring their own meat to grill and a dish to pass around. We’ll also be entertained with live music from “Troublesome Gulch” (Mark & Kim Sherac).

For additional information about COFA you can go to our website www.cofausa.org ; or, you can call Scott Glasscock at 303.921.2273 (COFA’s Colorado State Director) and George at 303.880.3800 for information about COFA’s “A Taste of the Outdoors” event. Ask us how COFA can help you grow your church with reaching out to the unchurched outdoor enthusiasts in your area.
