Park commissioners approve three special events

The Board of County Commissioners had three special event items on the agenda for the June 6 meeting, along with a request to approve a new telecommunications facility on the summit of Badger Mountain.

Commission Chairperson Mike Brazell called the meeting to order. Debra Green led the reciting of the Pledge of Allegiance. Commissioners Dick Hodges and Mark Dowaliby were present along with County Attorney Lee Phillips.

A portion of the Mountain Top Experience Ride, scheduled for June 11, travels through Park County on County Road 102, coming in from Fremont County in the south and heading north on Colo. 9 and then exiting east into Teller County. The commissioners voted 3-0 to approve a release and hold harmless agreement for use of those county roads.
