Commissioners review tax assessor’s reply to Pine Ridge

There were three tax abatement petitions in front of the Park County Board of Commissioners at the June 9 meeting. All three petitions dealt with lots in the Tanglewood Reserve Subdivision.

The meeting was called to order with Commissioners Mike Brazell and Mark Dowaliby in attendance, along with County Attorney Lee Phillips. Commissioner Dick Hodges was not present.

The Tanglewood Reserve Subdivision is a 374-acre property, located on both sides of U.S. Highway 285 between the Will-o-Wisp subdivision and Wandcrest Road in Pine Junction.

In a Board of County Commissioners Resolution dated Feb. 2, 2006, it specifically states that, “individual lots in a phase may not be sold or otherwise transferred … until such time as all Public Improvements have been completed in any Phases of the Tanglewood Reserve Subdivision.”
