Exciting Entertainment Lineup At The New Jeffco Fair & Festival
From Americana, folk and country music to swing bands, rock bands and children’s entertainment!

GOLDEN, Colorado - An outstanding entertainment lineup is slated for the new Jeffco Fair & Festival, taking place August 11 - 14, 2016 at the Jeffco Fairgrounds.
Featuring multiple main stage acts and a vast variety of immersive, atmosphere entertainment, every taste will be satisfied. Below is a list of this year’s scheduled entertainment.
Main Stage Performances
The Hub zone will feature the following artists and bands on the KYGO Honey Smoked Salmon Main Stage and the KOSI 101 Main Stage and is included with paid event admission to the Jeffco Fair & Festival.
The four-piece rock-funk-blues band VoodooJulia will play an eclectic mix of rock, blues, country, jazz and covers to get guests movin'.
The Hot Tomatoes will delight listeners and dancers alike, with a diverse array of musical styles from the Great Jazz Era bands like Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Benny Goodman, Harry James, and Glenn Miller, just to name a few.
La Pompe Jazz is a gypsy jazz group that fuses eclectic American jazz standards with French ballads.
Blending east coast class with west coast flare, Style will deliver the sounds of today’s contemporary music with yesterday’s favorites.
Kaia Kena combines soulful lyrics with a soothing voice, lyrical piano and percussive guitar.
Sad Star Café is a rock/pop act that combines elements of classic rock, country, punk and pop music.
Bettman & Halpin play original Folk /Americana. Their concerts combine high-energy upbeat bluegrass/roots inspired compositions, beautiful ballads with soaring vocals and heartfelt lyrics, and groovy feel-good songs.
Swerve will perform modern country and classic rock.
Leslie Tom is the epitome of traditional country music with lyrics of cheating hearts, love lost and found and perhaps a pick-up truck or two mentioned in her songs.
The Trent Hughes Band embraces new country, while honoring the past.
Richie Law and the Southern Routes Band blends southern rock, top 40 country and award winning originals.
Mark Gerganoff performs songs by the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, Bob Dylan, Eagles, James Taylor, America, among many others, reflecting his diverse musical tastes.
Superpop is a dance party cover band that plays mainstream hit party music from all eras and genres.
Summed up into one word, The Burnt Lips Band is "FUN". This legendary band, with its own unique blend of reggae, rock, jazz, and blues, has been enjoyed by millions worldwide.
Denver’s Hottest Country Band, Premium Diesel, will blow guests away.
Award winning My Blue Sky shares the passion and love of the music of the Allman Brothers Band (and family of bands).
Atmosphere Performances
Event guests will be immersed at every corner during their visit with a variety of atmosphere entertainment which is included with paid event admission to the Jeffco Fair & Festival.
Gladius couples horses such as Belgians, Andalusians, Minis, Percherons and Quarter Horses with artists that have been featured in shows with Cavalia, Cirque du Soleil, Disney and other major entertainment brands. The stunning equines and the harmonious relationships with the performers is something event guests will not want to miss!
Interact with Annie Oakely, Buffalo Bill, Captain Chance, Doc Holliday, Iron Tail, Laura Bell Mc Daniel, Jeb Stuart, Olive Oatman and other historical figures.
Take in the sounds of acoustic guitar and violin from the strolling musicians of Serenade.
Magician Dave Elstun will astound and delight guests with street style magic.
Sing-a-long with our Dueling Pianos inside the Saloon.
Watch chainsaw woodcarver Dave Shelton create large wooden sculptures.
Travel back in time with the Legendary Ladies to hear the stories of real women who made a significant impact on the West.
Catch the Jeffco Belles, an Andrews Sisters inspired vintage singing group, and their USO Show honoring our service members at home and overseas.
Kid’s Entertainment
Kids will create, discover and connect at the Jeffco Fair & Festival. The below offerings are included with paid event admission to the Jeffco Fair & Festival.
Meet and greet with SpongeBob SquarePants™, the squeezable star straight from his own Nickelodeon cartoon. Yep! SpongeBob SquarePants!
Direct from the new 3D stop-motion fantasy action adventure film from Focus Features, meet characters from Kubo and the Two Strings.
The Chick-fil-A Kidz Korral is the place younger guests can enjoy fun and interactive activities as well a petting farm.
Join Jefferson County Public Library, the Spark City Kids Bus and others on Friday during Kids Discovery Day for additional activities and exhibits just for kids.
In addition to the above, children can participate in the following for an additional fee.
Every day, children can participate in our Wool Riders Only Mutton Bustin’ attraction where winners from each round will be invited back for Championship Rounds in our Rodeo Arena sporting events.
Rodeo Arena Events
Guests will fill the grandstands to see this exciting event line-up.
The following is included with paid event admission to the Jeffco Fair & Festival.
On Thursday, join Denise Plante from KOSI101 on the red carpet and meet characters from the new 3D stop-motion fantasy action adventure film Kubo and the Two Strings. Guests snuggle up under the stars while being treated to a special advance screening of Kubo and the Two Strings followed by the critically acclaimed animated film Coraline.
Whether guests are avid fans or new to the sport of rodeo everyone will love the family-friendly Rodeo 101 event on Friday.
An additional ticket purchase is required for the following events.
Check out the toughest sport on dirt at Friday night’s Bull Riding and Freestyle Bullfighting event.
Dust off your boots and hats and get ready for Saturday night’s Colorado Professional Rodeo Association (CPRA) Rodeo.
