Parents and Citizens 4 Education has made it appear that their agenda is about more than the non-renewal of the former middle school principal. The school board is made up of five individuals that volunteer their time and are very student centered, according to the previous and current superintendents.
Three of the members have only one year left on their term of office; two of those are term limited and cannot run again.
There have been no elections because there has been only one candidate per position. The only way the current board members can run for their positions is by having the citizens vote “no.” Not really a “fair” election as PACE states.
