Meet & Greet Candidates and Ballot Issues events Sept. 15, 27 & 29

The League of Women Voters of Jefferson County is hosting three candidate Meet & Greet events in September in three different parts of the county. All are free and open to the public.

The first one is 7-9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 15, at Arvada West High School, 11595 Allendale Dr., Arvada, CO 80004 and targets the northern part of the county.

The second is 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27, at Carmody Middle School, 2050 S. Kipling St., Lakewood, CO 80227 and targets central Jeffco.

The third, also 7-9 p.m. will be Thursday, Sept. 29, at Columbine High School, 6201 S. Pierce St., Littleton, CO 80123 and targets south Jeffco.

Following brief candidate introductions, voters will have the opportunity to mingle with candidates in an informal setting to ask questions and discuss key issues. Candidates from the following races have been invited:
Colorado Legislature: House Districts 1, 22, 23, 24, 25, 27, 28, 29 and Senate District 19
District Attorney: District 1
RTD: Districts D and M
CU Regents
Jefferson County Commissioners
