The instructor will teach the mechanics and techniques needed to create professional floral designs. Students will learn a new skill and have fun using beautiful flowers to enhance their lives. Students will take home a completed arrangement at the end of class.

Painting Flowers in Watercolor

Course description: Learn how to paint flowers with watercolor enhanced with pen and ink. We will be painting from your photos, my photos, or both. You will learn or refresh your memory of the watercolor techniques of using masking fluid, splatter, wet on wet, wet on dry, dry brush, glazing, light to dark, and beyond and then we will break all the rules if you wish. All abilities and levels welcomed. If you are new to watercolor and want to give it a try without the expense of buying all of the materials, I will have painting supplies available for you to use except for 300 pound watercolor paper which will be available for purchase. Take this workshop and be eligible to hang in my Student Rotary Gallery show in November/December 2016.

Autumn Floral Arranging

Studio CAE for TEENS: Henna Body Art
