Christmas in Conifer is right around the corner! We've been busy planning the very best celebration this side of the Rockies and we can't wait to share all the FUN! This year's festivities boasts a bucking bronco competition (weather permitting), John Denver Karaoke, Mitten Wrap Competition, Brain Freeze, Rocky Mountain Oyster Eating Competition, Christmas Express Train Rides (weather permitting), a Christmas Market featuring over 25 vendors and food trucks, Holiday Trolley Rides, Christmas Village Stage with live holiday entertainment from 10a-4p, our 5th Annual Santa's Milk & Cookies Eating Competition, Elk Creek Fire Department's Santaland, a Christmas Spirits Tent and of course the 34th Annual Conifer Christmas Parade!

Would you like your business represented but don’t want to do all the work to create a float or entry? We have the solution for YOU!!! For $100, we will pair you up with a local Non-profit organization who will carry YOUR banner on THEIR float. This is a great way to market your business to up to 5,000 people.

If you are interested, please contact Jennifer Eleniewski via email at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or call her at 720/643-3016. Jennifer is our Parade Entry Coordinator for this year’s parade.

ANNOUNCING THE 2016 PARADE ROUTE!!! ***Please note the parade will end at Davis Drive with post parade parking on the south side of Sutton Road.***THE PARADE WILL NOT RETURN TO LINEUP. We suggest viewing the parade west of Dallman Drive. We ask that horse trailers park behind Bank of the West (after 12p) and ride over to parade lineup at West Jeff Middle school so they will be near their trailers at the end of the parade. Parade participants are encouraged to stay for the parade awards directly following the parade. A shuttle is provided to take your back to your cars at West Jeff Middle.

Did you know there is a HEATED shuttle service for the parade? Park at West Jefferson Elementary School and pick up the shuttle at the playground gate for access to the Christmas Village and Parade lineup. Why walk in the cold when you can ride in a toasty warm shuttle? PLEASE NOTE all Christmas in Conifer activities happen BEFORE the parade (10a-2p) please plan to come early! If you are participating in the parade you may park your float at parade lineup and take the shuttle to Christmas Village. The shuttle will run from 10a-4p Saturday, December 3rd!

The traditional kickoff to the Christmas in Conifer starts with the lighting of the community Christmas lights at Conifer Community Church on the weekend before which is tomorrow. Start a new family tradition if you haven't already of coming to the lighting ceremony; this year they will also be hosting the Mountain Market so you can do some gift shopping from local artisans as well! Here's the 2014 show so you can get an idea of what it's all about if you haven't been before:

From Scooters Smokehouse BBQ :
Get yourself into the Christmas spirit!! Begin by shopping at the Mountain Market Holiday Shop at the Conifer Community Church tomorrow! Scooters Smokehouse BBQ will be set up in the church parking lot selling brisket, pulled pork, chicken and sausage and homemade sides from 12 noon - 7 pm.

Music begins at 5 pm with the Lighting beginning at 5:30 pm!

"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther

The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill
