The sun rose on a new era for IREA last week as we celebrated the completion of Victory Solar, our biggest renewable project to date. Representatives from IREA and project partners juwi Inc. and Duke Energy were on hand for last Friday's ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Victory Solar's 50,000-plus photovoltaic panels will generate nearly 13 megawatts, enough to power more than 2,000 typical homes. Many thanks to all the individuals and groups who made this exciting project possible!
