The History of Red Rocks
The Conifer Historical Society will present the History of Red Rocks at 1:00 PM on Sunday, January 8th. Sally White, historian and author, will share history and photos of this world-famous outdoor venue and park including the first concert in 1906, the funicular incline (one of two in Golden!) and the local projects completed by the Civilian Conservation Corps.

A free, Denver Mountain Parks exhibit continues at the Schoolhouse from 10:00 - 2:00 on Saturdays and the first Tuesday in January and February. Groups by appointment. Denver Mountain Parks are located along the Front Range from Conifer to Winter Park.
