Commissioner Mike Brazell was elected chairman of the Park County Board of County Commissioners Jan. 19. This is the second year Brazell was elected chairman.
Commissioner Mark Dowaliby nominated Brazell, saying he did a good job last year chairing meetings and performing the extra responsibilities of being chairman, such as meeting with the county administration officer on various issues.
Work sessions and regular meetings will remain the same as last year. All will be held in Fairplay, the county seat.
An evening town hall issue meeting will be held once every three months and rotated to different areas of the county.
