Colorado Lieutenant Governor Donna Lynne is traveling around Colorado meeting with local elected officials to learn of their priorities, accomplishments and challenges and to discuss how the state can work with local governments to achieve their goals.
Lynne has been in the office for eight months. She was confirmed by the state legislature after former Lt. Governor Joe Garcia left to become president of Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education.
Lynne, directors and other personnel of Department of Local Affairs and Office of Economic Development and International Trade met with the Park County Commissioners, Alma Trustees and Fairplay Trustees at the Fairplay Town Hall Feb. 2.
