Chris Tingle, assistant fire chief for the Hartsel Fire Protection District, completed the emergency medical technical course at Colorado Mountain College in December 2016. He passed his national EMT certification exam and is a registered EMT in Colorado.
What does this mean for Park County residents?
Per Tingle, “Approximately 80 percent of our calls are medical. The knowledge base I got out of the EMT course was excellent.”
