From the Friends of Evergreen Dog Park
Jeffco's plan to close the park forever on April 4 is too extreme.
We have a visionary plan.
It’s time to #BARKBACK!
Walk a Dog, Save a Park
When’s the last time your leisurely weekend walk made a difference? Never? Here’s your chance to change that. Friends of Evergreen Dog Park asks you to join fellow outdoor enthusiasts and dog lovers for a morning stroll with a purpose – saving 107 acres of natural, wooded open space from senseless closure.
Help us convince Jefferson County to reconsider our plan to safely and sustainably manage Evergreen’s Elk Meadow Dog Park – a 30-year treasure enjoyed daily by humans and dogs alike. Our visionary model for maintenance, education and preservation will ensure the park remains open and accessible for many years to come, but not if Jefferson County closes it on April 4. It’s time to #BARKBACK!
