38th Annual Bailey Day June 24, 217

The Platte Canyon Area Chamber of Commerce (aka Platte Canyon Chamber) welcomes all to Bailey Day 2017 on June 24, 2017! Take a step back in time and experience the history of Bailey. It’s an Olde West, mountain town, family-friendly street fair!

Artisans, vendors and local organizations will line Bailey’s Main Street with their booths. Enjoy good timin’, heel tappin’, boot scootin’ live music from 10a-9p. Wild West shows will take place throughout the day. Get your picture taken at the Olde Tyme Photo Booth as a unique and lasting memory of the day. The Downtown Hoe Down street dance is from 4p-9p,

Other events include; Gunsmoke Fast Draw Competition, High Noon Auction, the interactive historic area at McGraw Park, kids area at Knotty Pine, Bucket Brigade and Duck Draw to benefit Platte Canyon Fire Department, pancake breakfast at the Platte Canyon Community Church, open house at Deer Creek Realty, The Bailey Day Taste Off Competition, and a 5k Run on the Old Dump Road.

This year marks the 38th Anniversary of the original Bailey Pioneer Day! Business advertising sponsorships and booth vending opportunities are available prior to 5/31/17.

Create your best home brews, wines, ciders, canned and baked goods. Enter as many as you like by printing and sending in the form. Deadline to enter is June 18! Drop it off at Platte River Outfitters/The Sasquatch Outpost or mail it to PCACC, PO Box 477, Bailey CO 80421 with your entry fee.

Winners will be announced from the stage at Bailey Day!

Volunteers still needed! If you could spare 2 hours and help with greeting visitors at the shuttle drop off by the China Village and parking at Crow Hill Bible Church, we would greatly appreciate it! Take a look a the attached spreadsheet, then contact Kris Ellis at Platte River Outfitters to confirm a spot. We are desperately short on help in the afternoon. Thank you!

Sign up for the Bailey Day 5K Dump Run! Your local 4-H Club has been given the honor of hosting this year. All proceeds will go to benefit 4-H Youth through project items and awards.

Free parking and shuttle service is available. Park at Crow Hill Bible Church. on Co Rd 43 and Hwy 285. Shuttle will run from 9-9:30 pm.
