In order to comply with land use regulations, Far View Horse Rescue owner Kimberly Kissman needed three land use approvals to keep operating.
The Park County commissioners approved a road right of way vacation, a common plat amendment and two rezonings from residential to agriculture small lot (A-35) April 27.
The rescue has been operating for several years on land zoned residential.
The two adjacent subdivisions where the rescue is located are the Four Mile Fishing Club and Carol Jean Meadows.
