Due to bad weather conditions, Center for the Arts is closed today, May 18, and tomorrow, Friday, May 19. Museum Moments, scheduled for this evening, May 18, is cancelled. Our apologies!

Final Reminder: Rocky Mountain National Watermedia Deadline is Tuesday
Exhibition Dates: September 16 - October 28, 2017
This is a final reminder that the deadline is approaching quickly to apply to this year's Rocky Mountain National Watermedia exhibition.

All entries must be received by midnight this Tuesday, May 23rd through CaFE. If you are having any technical issues with CaFE, you must email them directly at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. They are extremely responsive, but keep in mind their offices are closed on the weekend. If you are new to CaFE, do not wait until the last few hours to apply!

Also, we are so pleased to announce the 2018 RMNW juror, Mary Ann Beckwith. The author of Creative Watercolor: A Step-by-Step Guide and Showcase, her work has been featured in many books and her magazine credits include a feature article in International Artist Magazine. She has served as juror for many National and Regional societies and organizations: including the American Watercolor Society 150th Annual Exhibition (Awards Jury, 2017); the National Watercolor Society (Jury Selection, 2011); the International Society of Experimental Artists Society (Juror of Selection and Awards, 2008 and 2011).

Thomas Smith, Director of the Petrie Institute of Western American Art at the Denver Art Museum will present "The Western: An Epic in Art and Film."

This lecture takes place at CAE's current location, right next to Buchanan Recreation Center.

Refreshments will be served from 6:30-7pm. The lecture runs from 7-8pm.
