The Rick Lewis Project was formed in early 2015 by drummer and radio personality Rick Lewis. Rick had just come off an amazing run with his former band the Groove Hawgs. When Lewis' long time partner Michael Floorwax could no longer perform, Rick felt like it was time to close the book on the Groove Hawg's. It was not an easy thing to do because of the long history of the band and the friendships he had formed with the long time members. Forging forward, the Rick Lewis Project carries on the tradition of being a local rock 'n roll favorite!!
