Alma’s Festival in the Clouds is celebrating its 20th year beginning Friday, July 14 and going strong through Sunday, July 16. The festival, sponsored by the Alma Foundation, is a free outdoor art and music festival, which takes place in Alma, the highest incorporated town in the United States.
“This festival is so popular, we added a third day to the event this year,” Nancy Comer, town administrator for the Town of Alma, said.
She added, “Approximately 2,000 to 4,000 people attend the festival.”
When the festival first began, it was intended to give local artists and musicians a place to showcase their talents and crafts.
