A Jefferson County student is one of just six National Farmers Union members to be chosen to serve on the group's National Youth Advisory Council. Jessica Jurcek of Jefferson was elected by her peers who participated in the 81st annual NFU All-States Leadership Camp last week in Bailey, Colorado.
The camp encourages youth to explore their leadership potential, discuss issues important to their generation and identify ways to effect positive change in their communities.
