Liz Jennings retires after 25 years at the Fairplay library

Two awards ceremonies were held by the Park County Commissioners July 6.

Liz Jennings was honored for her 25 years as a librarian at the Fairplay Branch of Park County Public Libraries.

Her husband Bill and sons Dan and Matt attended the awards ceremony and the celebration at the library afterwards.

Park County Public Library Manager Pat Shepard said cake was served at the library and several well wishers stopped by.

Jennings began working at the Fairplay Library Nov. 7, 1992 and July 6, 2017 was the day she retired.
