Sheriff’s Office short on information into Maggie Long’s disappearance (updated)

Platte Canyon High School student Maggie Long, 17, left the school at approximately 2:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 1. She was supposed to attend a concert at the school that night, but according a message on her sister’s web page, as of 8 p.m. that evening, she had not returned to the school.

Update

High school student Maggie Long’s body identified from house fire, Sheriff’s Office is treating case as a homicide.

At 10:59 Thursday, Dec. 7, The Flume received a press release from the Park County Sheriff’s Office informing the public that missing 17-year-old Maggie Long’s body was found in the her parents burned-out house.

The press release indicates that the Sheriff’s Office is treating this case as a homicide.
