On Saturday night, Dec. 30, Steve Spodyak stood before 60 or so area residents to announce that he is running for the office of Sheriff for Park County. Spodyak, who is married to Platte Canyon School Board President Katie Spodyak, has deep connections to the Bailey community.
The evening began with current Park County Sheriff Fred Wegener introducing Spodyak and endorsing his run to replace him as Sheriff.
