After lengthy deliberations, Park County commissioners approved the Colorado Burnal Equinox outdoor event permit Jan. 4. The public hearing was held Dec. 28. (See Jan. 5 The Flume article.)
The two-day event will be held on the Berger Ranch, east of Bailey on County Road 68. No more than 450 persons are expected to attend.
The deliberations started with discussions of what changes are needed to the outdoor event permit regulations, instead of the merits of the Equinox application.
Extensive outdoor event regulations were adopted in 2015.
