Mike Brown spoke to a Bailey audience Saturday, Jan. 13, to announce his candidacy for the office of Sheriff of Park County.
Brown believes the department needs an overhaul and a restructuring of the command to be more efficient and better trained.
Brown spent 16 years in the Park County Sheriff’s office and has over 27 years in law enforcement.
“For any agency to have an ability to provide superior law enforcement services, it must recruit and retain individuals of high quality and ability,” Brown said.
