Dream Stream Café and Lounge opened their doors Saturday, Jan. 20, for county residents to meet and ask questions of Tom McGraw, Republican candidate for Park County Sheriff.
A Fairplay resident since 2014, McGraw stressed from the beginning of his candidacy that it’s the perfect time to get somebody who will make a big difference in the county, and he believes he is that somebody.
Having worked with and within rural counties, McGraw understands he may be viewed as an “outsider”; however, he embraces the perspective it provides. This perspective would require his decisions to be based on qualifications of personnel, without persuasion through ties within the department.
McGraw provided his law enforcement background spanning 35 years within the state of Florida.
