Free concerts run every other Wednesday, May 30-Aug 22, from 5-9 PM. Bring a picnic or buy from a food truck and enjoy some terrific music!

VIP parking at Evergreen Lake is sold out for the 2018 season. There is also no parking along Upper Bear or in the parking lot at Lakepoint Center. Concert attendees are encouraged to drop people off at the Lake House and then park at a satellite lot (Wulf Rec Center or Christ the King Church) and take a free shuttle bus.

2018 EPRD Summer Concert Series at Evergreen Lake

Annual series entertains every other Wednesday
EVERGREEN, CO (April 19, 2018) --

Evergreen Park & Recreation District (EPRD) presents the 2018 EPRD Summer Concert Series at Evergreen Lake House, featuring a diverse line-up of bands that range from local favorites to the Flamenco Rock King El Javi to crowd pleaser Tunisia.

Free concerts run every other Wednesday, May 30-Aug 22, from 5-9 PM, on the lawn in front of Evergreen Lake House. Bring a picnic or count on a food truck, arrive in plenty of time to take a shuttle bus and get ready to enjoy an unforgettable summer experience!

The 2018 Band Line-Up
Here is this season's line-up of headline acts. (Opening acts have yet to be announced.)

May 30 - Dead Floyd
Dead Floyd is a celebration of the music of two of rock and roll's greatest bands, The Grateful Dead and Pink Floyd, mashed together into one high-energy, unpredictable show.

June 13 - El Javi
El Javi (pronounced El HAH-vee), a Denver-based musician from Mexico City, is known as the King of Rock Flamenco. He joins the spirit of flamenco with the heart of rock to produce the unparalleled experience of Rock Flamenco and paint an auditory portrait of strength and intimacy.

June 27 - Breedin' Hearts
Breedin' Hearts is the new band from ex-Kamikazi Klone Jimy Murphy, the legendary Joe Bye, violinist Guy Tittes and Charlie Provenza.

July 11 - Arena Rock All Stars
Arena Rock All Stars perform favorite rock anthems of the 80's from Journey, Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, Van Halen, Whitesnake and more.

July 25 - The Wrecklunds
The Wrecklunds are a Denver-based bluegrass band that mixes classic harmonies and driving rhythms to create a sound that's both unique and familiar.

Aug. 8 - Jake Gill
Jake Gill, whose music is best described as a red dirt/rock fusion, was influenced by singer/songwriters like Eric Church and Josh Thompson with a hint of early Kenny Chesney.

Aug. 22 - Tunisia
Backed by a high-energy band and horn section, Tunisia pays homage to the Individuals and bands that performed the hits of yesteryear, from Journey through The Temptations, Smokey Robinson, Marvin Gaye, The Four Tops, The Jackson 5, The Supremes, Stevie Wonder and more.

Parking and Shuttles - Parking at Evergreen Lake House is extremely limited, and VIP parking is sold out for the 2018 season. Parking is not allowed along Upper Bear Creek, at Key's on the Green restaurant, or in the parking lot at Lakepoint Center, so make sure to use the shuttle buses that run from Wulf Rec Center and Christ the King Church. Buses run from 4:30 PM until the concerts end.
No glass bottles, please.
Pets are permitted on leash.
By state law, no higher than 3.2% alcohol is allowed in the park.

2nd Concert June 13
Next Wednesday, June 13, is our second concert of the EPRD Summer Concerts season! Make your way to Evergreen Lake House and welcome El Javi and Moonlight Bloom. The opening act takes the stage at 5 PM and the headliner comes on at 7 PM.

Opening Act - 5 PM Moonlight Bloom
Drawing influence from the vast swath of 60s and 70s music that formed the birth of psychedelic rock, Moonlight Bloom has developed a wide-ranging sound akin to the likes of Cream and Jimi Hendrix Experience — experimental live improvisation in a style that hints at blues, jazz, rock and beyond.


Headliner - 7 PM El Javi

Park Rules
No glass is allowed in the park at Evergreen Lake. You may bring cans and plastic containers. Please help keep our park clean by cleaning up after yourself. Trash cans and recycling bins are available.

Popups may only be set up at the edges of the park, after 3 PM on concert days.


Parking & Shuttles
Parking is scarce at Evergreen Lake House, and VIP Parking is sold out for the season. The remaining free spots fill up by 4 PM.

Please take a shuttle from Wulf Rec Center or Christ the King Church. The shuttles run regularly from 4:30-9:15 PM and bring you right to the park gate.

Counter Fit is Denver's dance rock cover band, born from the concept of high energy dance music that would satisfy a broad base audience out to enjoy an exciting live show. Learn more.

Goody Bag Drawings
Did you know ... EPRD gives out goody bags with t-shirts, sponsor swag and commemorative posters to a few lucky people at each concert? Make sure you get your ticket to enter the drawing -- watch for people walking in the crowd during the first concert. The drawing happens right before the opening act takes the stage!


About the Artist
The art for the poster was created by Evergreen's Michael Wisniewski, who has been engaged in painting, making music, and writing since the age of 15. He has been teaching art in the public schools for 30 years, currently at West Jefferson Elementary in Conifer and Marshdale Elementary in Evergreen.
