Sheriff Candidate Tom McGraw spent time with Hartsel residents Friday morning, April 6 at the South Park Mercantile in Hartsel.
McGraw listened to concerns expressed by local residents and answered a variety of questions, covering concerns that included escaped buffalo, illegal marijuana grow houses and guns.
McGraw was accompanied by his wife, Barb, who is head volleyball coach at South Park High School.
Prior to the questions and answers, McGraw gave a brief summary of his background, which included 35 years working patrol, detective, homicide, SWAT team, economic crime, narcotics, and fraud and corruption.
